The Risk Factors of Non-Accredited Education

The education scenario is undergoing vast changes all over the world. Introduction of newer concepts is presenting a tough challenge to the traditional education system. The amalgamated education systems are becoming increasingly difficult for the students to choose from. The availability of vast career options is capable of making the student increasingly confused. Here, one should not forget about some technical aspects that are directly related with the reliability of these schools, colleges, and universities that are engaged in imparting education to the students. The term “accreditation” is a very significant term that is very much necessary for every educational institution. It is a sort of educational insurance that makes these institutions reliable and dependable for both the students and their parents or guardians.

However, there are many educational institutes working in many parts of the nation that are indulged in educational malpractices. It is true that the government takes all possible measures to insure sure and certain ways to eliminate these fake institutes, still many such institutes are working under cover. It is highly risky to study in these non-accredited educational institutes. The students who cannot recognize these institutes become soft victims of these institutes. Their education in these institutions is full of risks and it is really difficult for them to get full advantage of their labor and expenditure.

The students are feared to fall into following risk factors:

• Poor quality of education : It is the gravest problem that the students face in these non-accredited educational institutes. It is quite natural because these institutes are not bothered about the quality of education as their main aim is to make money.
• Non-acceptability of the degrees: Since these degrees are provided by non-accredited institutions, therefore, the employers pay least or no attention to the students. It is not good for the career prospects of the students. It is extremely harmful as most of the students share a dream of better job opportunities with better companies or organizations. To be more frank, the degrees cannot guarantee any job opportunity.
• Non-availability of financial aids : As these institutes are not registered, the students find no financial aids there. The students need to bear all the possible expenses by themselves. Therefore, the large expenditure becomes a burden for them. That works as a negative factor and it is observed that many students leave out the course without completing them. The students are not even furnished with the basic facility of scholarships, which is indeed very harmful for the students as well as for the reputation of the institutes.
• No job guarantee or assistance : It is the most harmful for all the students as finding a job is the most important purpose of every student. These non-accredited institutes give no placement to the successful students. It works as a psychological burden for them. This increases the number of educated unemployed persons on this earth. It is actually aggravating the problem of unemployment all over the world.
• Extra burden of fees : It is true that these institutes are targeted to earn more money by any means. The load of fees is abnormally big which the students need to meet from their own resources. It is extremely uncomfortable for them to bear.
